Privacy policy
This policy explains how OneView (my-empower.com.au) handles personal information. It applies to this website, the OneView platform and email sent from my-empower.com.au.
Information we hold
- Account details of people who use the platform: name, work email address, role and sign-in records.
- Business records that customers enter into their own workspace, such as contacts, sites and correspondence. Each customer controls its own workspace data.
- Email exchanged with my-empower.com.au addresses.
- Technical logs (IP address, browser, time of request) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To provide and secure the platform, to send the transactional email described on our home page, to answer enquiries and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
We only email registered users and people who correspond with us. We do not send marketing email from the platform or use purchased lists. To stop non-essential email, reply to the message or write to hello@my-empower.com.au. Addresses that bounce or report a message as spam are suppressed automatically.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in Australia, in Amazon Web Services' Sydney region. Each customer workspace is held in its own isolated database schema. Access is limited to authorised staff using two-factor sign-in.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that host and operate the platform on our behalf (for example, Amazon Web Services for hosting and email delivery), or where the law requires it.
Retention
We keep information for as long as an account or customer agreement is active and as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask to access or correct information we hold about you, or make a complaint, by writing to hello@my-empower.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
